About the expo

The Careers, Courses & Connections Expo is a free community event hosted by CUC Isaac at the Isaac Event Centre in Moranbah. It brings universities and training providers, local industry and employers, and community support services together in one place, on one day.

It is built on a simple idea: study no longer follows one traditional path, and it is never too late to restart, retrain or reimagine your career. Whether you are finishing school, changing direction or returning to study after years away, there is something here for you.

In the Isaac Region, no one does this alone. Studying is rarely as simple as enrolling in a course. Childcare, mental health support, financial guidance and a strong sense of community all help people succeed, which is why support services are as much a part of the expo as universities and employers.

Who is the expo for?

All members of the community, no matter your age, stage in your career, or education experience, this expo is for you!

Who you can meet

  • Universities and training providers
  • Employers offering apprenticeships, traineeships and careers
  • Community and wellbeing support services
  • Local businesses and organisations from across the Isaac Region
