CUC Isaac – Iberdrola Australia Scholarship Program

Supporting local students to pursue higher education without leaving the Isaac region.

CUC Isaac is proud to partner with Iberdrola Australia to deliver an annual scholarship program supporting local students undertaking tertiary study through CUC Isaac. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening education pathways and future workforce development in the Isaac region.

About the scholarship

Each year, Iberdrola Australia funds five scholarships of $5,000 each for local students pursuing higher education — an investment of up to $75,000 supporting as many as 15 students across the life of the partnership.

A scholarship can help with the real costs of studying from a regional community, including:

  • Course materials and study equipment
  • Technology and internet access
  • Travel, accommodation and other costs associated with placements or residential schools
  • Other education-related expenses
More than financial support. As part of this partnership, CUC Isaac has access to five virtual reality headsets loaded with Work Window — an immersive platform that lets students step inside real workplaces and shadow professionals across a wide range of careers. Work Window also includes an AI-powered interview simulator, giving students valuable practice and confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce. These resources are available to students at the Centre.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be registered with CUC Isaac
  • Live in the Isaac region
  • Be enrolled in an accredited tertiary qualification (Certificate I or above)
  • Demonstrate commitment to their studies

Both new and continuing students are welcome to apply.

How applications are assessed

Applications are reviewed by the CUC Isaac Scholarship Assessment Panel against the following criteria:

Financial need 30%
Connection to the Isaac region 20%
Personal statement (goals & impact) 20%

How to apply

  1. Download and complete the application form (a fillable PDF).
  2. Prepare your supporting documents — proof of enrolment and a short personal statement (around 500 words).
  3. Submit your completed form and documents to CUC Isaac at degrees@cucisaac.edu.au before the closing date.
